Quality Assurance :
Raw material analysis for all incoming materials in Store dept. Mould hardness and dimension test practice. Before charging raw material is weighed for each charge in cupola furnace operation.
• Test bar is drawn every 1 hour.
• Carbon equivalent test and temperature test through Ferro lab.
• Instruments for Temperature measurement.
• Brinell Rockwell hardness tester.

Angles:
Normal angles tolerance is ± 1/2 degree but may very depending on the location in the casting.
Radii:
Corner and the fillet radii should be minimum 0.5 mm each, but are dependent on adjacent casting features. Larger radii may be necessary to ensure against shrinkage in thick function.

Quality Assurance Procedures :
• Raw Material and all process material of specified quality are used in
production after inspection and acceptance.
• 100% inspection on pattern in process is ensured.
• All Quality records are maintained.
• Tools are thoroughly examined and inspected before and after the production.
• All castings are thoroughly inspected for required quality parameters before
dispatch. |
